About Kai Ming Rainbow Center

Kai Ming is a quality program offering prenatal support, infant and toddler childcare, preschool and supportive services at low or no cost for eligible families in San Francisco. Early learning, health and family well-being make a difference in how far children will go to reach their full potential. At Kai Ming, we help provide early childhood education and care that sets your child up for success. Upon enrollment, your family will have access to comprehensive services at low or no cost to you. Infant/Toddler Care (3-36 months) Early learning: social-emotional, language, cognition, and physical development foundations of early learning are central to creating the nurturing environment at our centers. Teacher-child ratio 1:3 for infants and 1:4 for toddlers. Preschool (3-5 years) Culturally relevant, family-centric and child-interest specific, curriculum that supports dual language learners dual language curriculum prepares children for kindergarten and provides a springboard for life-long learning. Teacher-child-ratio between 1:5 to 1:8.
